Loewe HDTV

HDTV is a worldwide digital TV standard using the 16 : 9 format, which revolutionises the usual TV picture. Broadcasts in this standard feature up to five times the resolution of conventional signals and therefore produce an astounding depth of picture. The pictures seem more three-dimensional, the contours are sharper. Optional 5.1- Dolby Digital Sound provides crystal-clear surround sound.

The first European station to broadcast HDTV pictures has been doing so since January 2004, and other stations are following suit. For example, the football World Cup will be broadcast in HDTV.

And Loewe is ideally prepared for it. Most Flat-TV sets are already capable of processing HDTV content (only with separate HDTV decoder) thanks to their digital HDMI or DVI interface, including HDCP copy protection, which makes them HD ready. The brilliant pictures are produced on high definition displays of the next generation.
